Food price inflation is set to fall sharply after large price rises for consumers in recent years, according to a major lender to agribusinesses, as production of agricultural commodities.

Global food prices are set to fall 9% this year and an additional 4% in 2025 before. Over recent years food prices have been inflated by the pandemic and war in ukraine, while extreme summer temperatures have exacerbated the problem.
